HOW IT WORKS:
- Purchase individual tickets or our NEW Fill the Mason Jar Membership via our online Shop or when you arrive at the farm. Make sure to sign up for our newsletter and follow us on Facebook so that we can keep you updated with information about additional farm happenings and events. We will also post them on our website for easy access so feel free to bookmark us. 2024 will be our third season, and we hope to be open sometime in June through early October. Ultimately, Mother Nature will be our guide. All tickets expire at the end of each growing season.
- Once you have scheduled your appointment or decided which Saturday from 9:30am-12:30pm you would like to come out, mark your calendar for that date. Then, take a scenic drive out to the farm located at 1167 Haley Road, Shelbyville, KY 40065.
- When you arrive, we will provide you with snips, a 32-ounce cup filled with water, and harvest instructions. If you are a Mason Jar Member you will receive your jar upon your first visit and you will be responsible for bringing it back each time you come to cut flowers.
- After you fill your cup/jar with handpicked flowers feel free to shop our farm store where we sell our premium Black Angus Beef, vases, t-shirts, snacks, and a variety of other cute products. Or just relax for a while and take in the scenery. Feel free to bring a picnic to enjoy!
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING:
- Appropriate attire. The flowers are in an open field without shade and the grounds may be wet/muddy.
- Sunscreen and bug spray.
- EpiPen if needed. We have tons of pollinators including bees on the farm. The bees are not interested in stinging while they are collecting pollen, however, it could happen. If someone in your party has a severe allergy, please be prepared.
- Camera. You are encouraged to take photos and we appreciate being tagged. If you are a professional photographer coming to take photos, you will need to purchase a photographer pass.
PLEASE LEAVE BEHIND:
- We love fur babies but for the safety of our guests and our farm animals, please leave your fur babies home. If you have a service dog, please alert us ahead of time.
A FEW EXTRA DETAILS:
- Children are free if they assist their parent or guardian. However, anything that they cut (including short stems which they all love to do) will need to be included in your bouquet. Please always keep your kiddos with you. Our family works extremely hard to be able to offer this experience so no destructive behavior will be tolerated.
- If you have a large group or you would like to schedule a private Pick Your Own Experience, please contact us directly so that we can make arrangements.
