Photoshoots on the Farm

Chickapoo Farm is a beautiful place to capture special memories. Whether you're planning engagement photos, senior portraits, family pictures, maternity photos, or simply documenting a special season of life, we invite you to enjoy the beauty of the farm.

Photography sessions operate on a self-serve basis, just like our U-Pick.

Beginning June 27, 2026, photographers and their clients are welcome to visit during our regular farm hours:

Morning: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Evening: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM

No reservations are required.

We encourage photographers and clients to follow us on social media and subscribe to our newsletter for bloom updates throughout the season. Bloom availability varies and changes frequently.

Photography Pass

The Photography Pass is $35 per client or group.

Examples:
• Senior session = $35
• Family session = $35
• Engagement session = $35
• Maternity session = $35
• Prom or homecoming photos = $35 per couple

Flowers are not included with the Photography Pass.

If you or your client would like to use flowers during the session, a U-Pick cup may be purchased for $28. Please allow extra time before your session to cut flowers if desired.

As long as your session takes place during our open hours, there is no time limit. We have found that relaxed sessions create a better experience for both photographers and clients.

Check-In & Payment

All photographers and clients must check in at The Bloom Box upon arrival.

Photography passes are paid on-site through our self-serve system. Cash and electronic payments are accepted.

Photography Guidelines

• Please stay on designated pathways whenever possible.
• Do not cut flowers unless a U-Pick cup has been purchased.
• Be respectful of other guests, photographers, and the farm.
• Children must be supervised at all times.
• Pets are not permitted on the farm. Service animals are welcome.
• Professional photographers are responsible for the actions of their clients while on the property.

We kindly ask that photographers credit Chickapoo Farm and tag @chickapoofarm when sharing images online.

We have been fortunate to host many talented photographers over the years and have found that everyone is respectful of one another and the farm. There is plenty of room for multiple photographers to work simultaneously, and we look forward to continuing to provide a beautiful and welcoming space for your sessions.
